Coaching
Individual executive coaching
The situation
A decision carries more than a business consequence. A new role unsettles familiar ways of working. You need somewhere to examine what is happening without having to demonstrate that you already know the answer.
How the work runs
You bring a situation you want to work on. We agree a coaching objective and a framework, then use questions, reflection and observation to examine your options. You remain responsible for your choices. The coach does not decide for you or present advice as coaching.
Cadence and duration
An individual cycle comprises eight to ten sessions of 60 to 75 minutes, one every two to three weeks, over three to six months.
What changes
Clearer choices. A more deliberate leadership response. Actions you can test between sessions. Progress is measured against the objective you set, with your own observations and agreed indicators.
Where this does not apply
Coaching is not therapy, diagnosis, crisis support or a substitute for professional health care. It is also not consulting disguised as personal development. If another form of support is more appropriate, that is discussed openly.
